There’s a new generation of landing pages that can offer customer data profiling and data capture features, e-Commerce, video and lead generation tactics.

A landing page is a standalone web page, created specifically for the purposes of a marketing campaign. It’s where a visitor “lands” when they have clicked on a Google AdWords ad, social media ad or some other place on the web.

They Can Serve Several Purposes

-Help to drive traffic to specific areas of your website.
-Capture data through surveys and mini forms.
-Get website visitors to convert to the next stage in the sales process.
-They can grow your email or mobile lists with opt-in features.
-Display videos, product or service info or teaser information.
-Can give your customers a single, clear path to your shopping cart.
-They can be tracked and measured.
-Etc.

“It’s a fastbeautiful and fun way to share your photos”

Originally available to iPhone users, Instagram is now available to Android users as well.  Instagram has seen amazing growth in the first seven months of 2012 – going from 15 million users at the beginning of 2012 to 80 million in July – an increase of over 400% in just seven months.  It doesn’t take a genius to realize that those are some pretty remarkable numbers.

40% of the brands listed in Interbrand’s Top 100 utilize Instagram according to a study conducted by Simply Measured.

Based on the conclusion of the Simply Measured study: “For brands that continue to hold out and watch as their competition is engaging users and measuring results, 80 million potential customers are being ignored.”

We would recommend that all brand managers and marketers, who are not currently active on Instagram on behalf of their brands, get active.  More and more businesses and consumers are using Instagram, just as they are Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.

If you are trying to reach new target markets, be sure to consider the growing Hispanic population in the United States.  Is the Hispanic population really growing as fast as the media claims?  Yes. There are approximately 53 million Hispanics in the U.S. today.

Hispanics are actively purchasing products and utilizing services and are a critical component to our economy.  As you know, the Hispanic consumer is rich in culture, in the foods they eat, in music, etc.  They are also very family oriented, integrated within the U.S., and are growing in numbers exponentially. Interestingly enough, the Hispanic consumer is now younger than the non-Hispanic general consumer.  The average age of a Hispanic consumer is 26 and the average age of a general consumer is 41.

Many brands have recognized that they will only grow if they focus on the Hispanic market.  Lots of bigger markets, like Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Miami know that: if you don’t garner the loyalty of the Hispanic market, you’re not going to grow.  Furthermore, growth in the years to come will come from multicultural consumers. More than ever, it is important to know how to market to, connect with, and reach the growing Hispanic market.
